We are going to have a great year! </p><p>We are going to travel to many different countries this year to learn about their music. </p><p>We have already visited Japan. Students listened about the Yoshida Brothers (you can view their video on youtube "Yoshida Brothers - Rising" And what Japanese frogs say. </p><p>We have visited Australia. Students listened to the song "Waltzing Matilda" (you can view this song on youtube "Waltzing Matilda" by Slim Dusty Ask your child what a "didgeridoo" is, and what it sounds like. </p><p>We are now visiting France. We are learning "Friar a Jacques" and "Bridge at Avignon" (both you can find in children friendly versions on youtube) Ask your child what a "Hurdy Gurdy" is. </p><p>Next we will be visiting Russia.
